Robert Maxwell BSc MSc MISCP

Robert is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) and is CORU registered.
As you may have guessed from the picture, Robert hails from Scotland, growing up on the West coast of Scotland before moving to Edinburgh where he gained a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Queen Margarets University in 2011. Since graduating he has worked in both the public and private sectors in a range of areas including Mental Health services, Intellectual Disabilities services, Musculoskeletal Outpatients and Professional Sport. Since moving to Ireland in March 2015 Robert has worked primarily in private practice as well as with Connacht Rugby and Brothers of Charity Services Ireland. Robert decided to open and run his own clinic “Maxwell Physiotherapy” in December 2017 and continues to do so happily. While running Maxwell Physiotherapy Robert continued his professional development at the University of Limerick and graduated with an MSc in Sports Performance in August 2019 complimenting well Robert’s interest in injury prevention and athletic performance. This range of experience and interest allows for a more holistic approach to treatment, catering for his clients’ specific needs and requirements.
