Penny has been competing in Judo since she was 8 years of age and has competed at local, provincial, national and international level. In Penny’s last full competitive year, 2019, she competed both nationally and internationally and took home;

Gold in the Irish Open Cadet 63kg category.
Bronze in the Irish Open Junior 63kg category.
Gold in the Heart of England Junior 63kg category (international comp) 
Bronze in the Heart of England Senior 63kg category (international comp) 
Gold in the All Ireland Cadets 63kg category 
Gold in the All Ireland Junior 63kg category 

Penny most recently took home
Gold in the Galway Open Seniors 63kg category in early 2020 before competition were then halted due to COVID19. 

Despite the break from competition Penny has used this time well and continued to work extremely hard to further her athletic development. We very much look forward to seeing her compete again in the near future.
